COVID19 Information

During the evolving Coronavirus (COVID19) health situation, we are committed to continuing to meet your health and wellness needs through both our medical clinic and support services. To safely provide those services and ensure the wellbeing of all at Bella, we’ve outlined temporary clinic and support service updates below (COVID19 Notice) as well as outlined general safety recommendations and provided information about the illness and pregnancy.

At this time, Bella is making efforts to minimize exposure and reduce transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our patients, clients and staff.  Support Services staff members are available for support/mentoring calls and to process requests for material support including diapers, wipes and clothing during our business hours Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Nurses will be asking the following questions before scheduling an appointment:

  • Do you have any of the following symptoms now or within the past two weeks?
    • Cough, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulties
    • Fever
    • Loss of taste or smell
    • Chills
    • Sore throat
    • Runny nose
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
  • Have you had close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of the COVID-19 disease?  Or, have you had close contact with a person who exhibited symptoms of a lower respiratory illness (cough, difficulty breathing, etc.) within the two weeks?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, Bella will be unable to schedule an appointment. Individuals with an apparent mild illness will be encouraged by the nurse to contact their healthcare provider by phone for guidance about clinical management or an agency designated to handle potential COVID-19 patients. Individuals who report severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing, will be directed to seek care immediately.

Thank you for your patience as Bella continues to provide medical services in our clinic and to meet the growing needs of our Support Services clients in the safest way possible.

The Center for Disease Control [CDC] and local health care providers recommend individuals take the following steps to prevent/minimize the spread of this illness:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Practice social distancing by avoiding spaces where close contact with others is expected
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue away
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects using any of the following products:
    • 70% or greater isopropyl alcohol (liquid)
    • Clorox Disinfecting Wipes
    • Clorox Healthcare Bleach Germicidal Disinfectant Wipes
    • Super Sani-Cloth Germicidal Disposable Wipes
    • Lysol Spray
    • When cleaning surfaces with wipes or spray, it is recommended to allow the surface to air dry
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water and for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.  If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Follow the CDC’s present recommendation to wear a facemask in public
